Needs to scan shapes visually and point at one. Pointer or touch works best; keyboard navigation is available but slower.
One T is hidden among rotated Ls. Find it and select it. Fifteen screens: five each with 12, 24 and 36 shapes, so the search gets busier. Every shape is randomly rotated and placed.
Time runs from the moment the screen appears to your correct selection. A wrong selection is counted as a miss and the search continues. A screen times out after 15 seconds.
score = median time to find the T (seconds) accuracy = screens found with no wrong selection ÷ screens × 100
The median by crowd size is shown too: most people slow down as shapes are added — that slope is the classic search effect.
